Feeling a little lost in class or have some particular moves you need some extra help on? We offer private lessons to help you become the best belly dancer you can be. Schedule an appointment with one of our qualified instructors.

A private lesson may consist of:

- Improving your technique

- Breaking down difficult moves

- Practicing a choreography

- Fine-tuning for a performance

...Get that special one-on-one attention.

We offer 1/2 hour and 1 hour private lessons, either as a drop-in (one-time) lesson, or if you buy a package of four classes we offer a discount. Though an hour will definitely give you plenty of time to work on several moves or combinations, a weekly 1/2 hour lesson will give you the consistency of instruction, repetition, and correction that will assist your progress. Private lessons are designed to work on specifics or trouble spots.

Have something you want to work on together, or both want to work on? Each additional person for the lesson is $10. That means, 1 hr lesson (usually $60) for two people would be $70 ($35/each). For three people would be $80 ($26.67 each). So bring a friend and save!

Choreography Creation

$75 per minute of choreography

Creating Choreography:

We are happy to work with you on a choreography you have learned in class, or your own choreography, to polish and fine-tune. However, if you wish to have choreography created for you by one of our instructors, there are two ways to do that. Creating choreography is a very time consuming process. If choreography can be created during the lesson there is no extra charge. You can work with the instructor to create the choreography, develop moves that work for you, and is a great way for you to learn how the choreographing process works.

Or, if you need a new choreography created outside of the lesson and then taught to you, there is a separate charge for that process since it involves extra time and attention from the creator. Our years of experience has taught us that for every minute of music, there is 1.5-2 hours of choreographing time put into a piece. Of course there are moments when this process goes quicker, and sometimes more slowly, depending on the piece. Thus there is a charge of $75 per minute of choreography that needs to be created, if it is created outside of the private lesson.
